Both EdAWACS and Caduceus contacted me recently, but since there's been no Falchion Valley activity yet, I'll open up discussion to get the ball rolling.
Some background: a staff member on the SCP site noted that a lot of aspects of the CI wiki seemed to be near-plagiarised systems from the existing SCP universe: the object classification, the supplementary material that is analogous to the article addenda on SCP, so on and so forth.
Basically, there appears to be some concern that the CI wiki isn't doing it's own thing but rather just borrowing excessively from the Foundation site.
Anyway, I think the first thing that should be done is revamp the style/format of the items. You've currently got a bunch of numerical values that mean other things, which is arguably similar to the Foundation's classification system. Why not just have straightforward statistics at the beginning, with a little table that someone can quickly read and interpret? Sort of like this:
Item name:
General size/mass/speed if applicable:
Handling hazards (if any):
Usage restrictions (if any):
Incidents involved in:
Current location/handler:
And then some lines of further information. In contrast with Foundation writing, I feel like the CI doesn't care about background information that isn't related to "how can we use it for our purposes", so test logs are wholly unnecessary if they can just be summed up with "use it this way, not that way."
Anyway, I'd like to open up discussion to see what everyone's thoughts are.
